Darjeeling White Tips

Notes:  A fine tea — one of my favorites. Milk or sugar are not recommended, as either will mask the tea’s delicate flavor.

Darjeeling White Tips

Description:
A rare white tea from the Darjeeling region of India. Each leaf is hand-selected, gently steamed and dried under a soft heat. The result is an incredibly light fresh flavor with mild muscatel notes, rounded by underlying tones of white wine.

Growing Region/Country: Darjeeling/India

Brewing: 3g tea leaves (2 level teaspoons) per 8oz (250 ml) of filtered, 190-200 degree(F) water. Allow to brew 3 min. May be re-infused.

Additional Information:
Although generally associated with China, legend has it that Darjeeling White tea was a favorite tea of Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, one of the first men to summit Mt. Everest. Try Darjeeling White Tips as a palate cleanser after a spicy meal.
