East Frisian Breakfast

Notes:  For many years it was rumored that East Frisian tea was grow locally in the cold and sparsely populated region in northeast Germany. This was of course not possible. The prevailing climate and soil conditions make the cultivation of tea impossible, and the tea was most likely obtained from traders from the Netherlands.

East Frisian Breakfast

Description:
A finely shaped and roughly broken tea with lots of light-colored leaf tips. This unique tea blends the bold flavor profile of the Assam leaf, with the spiciness of a great Ceylon tea. A classic tea that makes a dark, strong malty, rich cup. Try it the Frisian way — layered with cream and crystallized sugar.

Growing Region/Country: India, Ceylon

Brewing: Use 3 grams (1 level teaspoon) per 8oz of boiling water, and steep for 4-5 minutes.
